This practical workshop involves ways of motivating and encouraging children to be active through fun games and activities promoting fitness and healthy living.
This session will also work on team building and boost morale of staff within your centre. They will leave with a passion to incorporate more physical activity into every day, not because its part of their job, but because they want to play !
Explorer Series
Story Time Leading to Physical Activity
This fun active workshop will help participants develop the skills to start thinking outside the square.
This workshop reveals the secrets behind a smooth transition from story time to physical activity making good use of various resources which already lie at your fingertips in childcare.
It explores how to combine physical education with reading, music and various other resources to promote learning through play.
The Explorer series will give carers a tool box of ideas suitable for every childs current interests, abilities and needs.
OSHC / Vacation Care
Theming Fitness
This session will explore how carers can design and implement fitness games with art and craft, cookery and other activities all revolving around a single theme.
Through theme related fitness games children's enthusiasm will increase and they are more likely to participate actively.
This is a fun filled active session so participants should be prepared to walk the plank, collect kryptonite,or move through the jungle.
